Smoked Pork:

 Smoked pork is must be in each and every naga kitchen It is commonly eaten by the Naga's and other northeastern states of India. and, it is one of the delicious food eaten by Naga's, it contains rich nutrients like fats and proteins and, there are so many different ways of cooking smoked pork among different tribes and different community and most of the people knows those different recipes so, here I can not stay quiet without sharing with you guys about this delicious recipe, want to share a very unique recipe of smoked pork So, without wasting our time let me start.

smoked pork and mushroom recipes

Ingredients:

* Smoked Pork (900 grams.)
* Button Mushrooms (a half kilo ) can use other mushrooms too.
* Banana Flower (2 nos.)
* Dry red chilies ( according to your taste.)
* Tomatoes ( 4 nos.)
* Onion ( 2 nos.)
* Bamboo shoot juice (4 taste spoon )
* Dry bamboo shoot ( 50 - 60- grams ) or you can use either bamboo shoot juice or dry bamboo shoot, if u use dry bamboo shoot use more quantity or if u use bamboo shoot juice increase the volume of juice.
* Spring onion ( According to your needs)
* Red chili powder for spicy and coloring.
* And lastly salt to taste.

Preparation time:  

* 20 minutes approximately.

Cooking duration:

* 25 - 35 minutes ( it depends on your fire or stove flame).

Methods:

* Smoked pork always contains carbonized particles so, keep in mind before you cooked always washed it with hot water or burn it on the flame and scratch it out the thin black layer. And, cut it to your desire size.
* 2ndly washed the mushroom and chopped it into 2 pieces each. I prefer a larger size so that, we can feel the mushroom taste when we chew it. (he..he).
* Now chopped the onion, tomatoes, spring onions, Banana flowers, and chilies.
* Now let's start with one by one, Put water on the pot and start to boil, while when the water starts boiling before adding anything add the bamboo shoot juice. (this is important because, when we add bamboo shoot juice only after the meat start cook than, your meat cooking duration will be longer than the usual)
* Now, add Tomatoes, onions, and chilies and cook for around 8 minutes.
* 3rthly, add smoked pork meat and button mushrooms and cook for around 20 minutes.
* 4thly, add chopped Banana flowers and Dry bamboo shoot, red chili powder, and salt. 
* Cooked until the meat is cooked and finally add the chopped spring onions and mixed it thoroughly and put off the flame, here you smoked meats curry is ready.
