 Yummy Celery Salad In Naga Style | Celery Salad Very Unique Naga Salad Recipe

Celery is a very rich nutrients vegetables and mostly eaten by the western and northern part of the world, now it is available in every part of the world and it is suitable in a cool climate, here in Nagaland, the way we used to eat celery is a bit different and that's the reason I am here to share you guys of our unique recipe so, let's start how we Nagas used to eat celery as a salad form.

Ingredients:

* Celery(500 grams approximately)
* Local river dry fish (8 dry fish)
* Naga king chilies (3 pieces)
* Garlic (3 cloves)
* Pork soup (1 tablespoon)
* And salt to taste

Methods:

*, First of all, wash the celery and keep asid and let's boil a little amount of water in a pot and wait until its boil, now chopped the celery roughly and add the celery leaves to that boiling water and put off the flame and just soak it in the hot water for around 5 -10 minutes and keep aside.
* Now squeeze it out the hot water from the celery and put it in a bowl.
* 2ndly roast the dry fishes and mashed them well and add them to the celery.
* Now mashed the garlic and Naga king chilies together and add the paste to the celery.
* Add salt according to your desire.
* And lastly add the tablespoon of pork soup, and mixed all the ingredients together I prefer using a hand to mix it because we need a little bit pressure to mixed the ingredients properly so, that's it. 
Now serve it with a meal or as snacks with drinks.

As everyone knew bottle gourd is rich in nutrients. And we all eat it, but according to different tribs and communities the preparation methods are different, so here I want to share how to eat bottle gourd skin. ok without wasting time let me start.

Ingredients:

* Bottle gourd peel skin   (1.nos.)
* Tomatoes    (2 Nos.)
* Onion          (2. Nos.)
* Ginger         (30 grams)
* Garlic          ( 5 gloves)
* Mustard oil  ( 50-70Ml)
* Green chilies (4 pieces)
* Red chili powder (2 taste spoon)
* Garam Masala ( 1and half taste spoon)
* Salt to taste
* Other seasonings (optional)

Time duration:

15 - 20 minutes


Methods:

* Peel off the bottle gourd skin and make it smaller pieces and keep aside.
* Chopped the onion tomatoes and green chilies.
* Chopped the Ginger into tiny pieces
* Mashed the garlic
* Now, Put a pan on the stove and make the flame slimmer and start roast the mustard oil. 
* Now, Add all chopped ingredients except the gourd skin and add masalas, chile powders, and salt. and fry it for around 5 minutes.
* Lastly add the peel skin and fry it for around 10 - 15 minutes and your bottle skin curry is ready to serve.

Naga Sour Pomelo Salad Simple Recipe | Pomelo Salad

When we talk about pomelo, Pomelo is one of a fruit that contains rich nutrients, But we are not here to discuss about nutrients, so leave besides that and let's talk about how to serve Pomelo.
First of all, we all knew that Pomelo has so many different kinds, But here in this salad making I will use the sour one. Sour pomelo and the sweet one are commonly found in Nagaland and even varieties of colors were found. So am using Red color sour Pomelo.
When I check other Pomelo salad recipes, They were adding so many ingredients and make salad beautiful and brings the taste to an unexpected good. 
Say, let me give you some ingredients that other people use, like adding groundnuts and cashew nuts or milk and cream or like fish sauce etc, etc... adding so many ingredients give a beautiful look but don't make any sense when it came to taste because, when we taste the pomelo salad we don't feel like it is pomelo, the taste of pomelo is totally changing to the different taste, though am not blaming the rest of chef or the salad maker but, for me whatever is used to cook or prepare the taste of the main ingredients won't be lost in place bring the taste more by adding some seasonings.
Ok without wasting time let's start this simple recipe.

Ingredients: 

* 1 Pomelo
* 20 - 30 grm coriander
* Sugar 2 - 3 taste spoon
* Salt According to your taste
* Chili powder According to your needs.

Methods:

* Peel the pomelo skin and pick or plug out the fruit.
* Chopped the coriander
* Add the chili powder or you can add green chilies too
* Add sugar
* Add salt
* Can add chives too Optionally.
* Add a pinch of black pepper if you want.
Now add all the ingredients together and serve it, enjoy the real taste of Pomelo salad.

A rare Mushrooms that found in the northeastern India or say in India is a mushrooms found in the land where white ants make their home under ground, this mushroom belongs to the 
Termitomyces Mushrooms Family.
further any details haven't yet found.
while it is edible mushrooms where peoples rated one of the sweetest.
So today am going to show you guys that how we prepared this mushrooms for the meal, 
here is another picture given for further referance.
Note: most of the mushrooms are look similar non identical so by comparison on the picture it is not recommended to eat.

Ingredients used in Mushroom curry:

* Mushrooms 
* Green Chilies ( 10 Pic )
* Chieves ( any amount you prefer ) 
* Tangpah ( tangpah is a seeds which is sour in taste where Nagas use like medicine and also used to nutralized food poison )
* And salt to taste.

Methods:

* Clean the mushrooms and add little amount of water and add salt and tangpah and start boil 
* Let it boil until the water dry up.
* Now roast the green chillies and mashed it .
* Cut the chives according to your size and mixed all the ingredients together with mushrooms and serve it with the meal.

 How To Cook Wai Wai Noodles |  Wai Wai Cooking Competition Winner Recipe

Wai wai Noodles:

Wai wai is a famous Nepali noodle mostly available in Nepal and India and its use to serve in every restaurant and home cooking with their own styles and methods, so today I am going to show you guys how to cook wai wai in a very unique way without using meat, eggs, etc. by just using some common vegetables.
this recipe is a wai wai cooking winner competition recipe though it is not a world competition it's just a small district competition still than the competition is a competition, so let's start.

Ingredients:

Wai wai Noodles ( 4 packs. )
Onion (2 Nos.)
tomatoes (2 nos.)
Garlic  ( 2 cloves)
Snake beans ( 10 Nos.)
Green Chilies ( 7 Nos.)
Culantro or coriander. ( anyone you prefer )
Mustard Oil. 
And a pinch of salt.

It is not supposed to add the exact amount I have given here coz, according to your eating habits you can reduced the amount slightly but do not exclude or include the other ingredients.

Materials needs:

* Pot to boil wai wai.
* Seive to strain wai wai noodles.
* Pan to fry wai wai noodles.

Methods:

* Fist boil the water and add wai wai noodles and add all the 4 pack of onion oils and add half of one seasoning packed cook for 3 - 5 minutes and sieve the wai wai noodles.
* Collect the water to use for soup, add the chopped cunlantro or coriander while the soup is hot, and set it aside.
* Heat the mustard oil in a pan and add all the chopped vegetables given above after adding the vegetables now add the remaining 3 seasonings and a pinch of salt.
* Now add the wai wai noodles and fry it for around 7 - 8 minutes, that's it enjoy the waiwai noodles.

 How To Cook Chinese Pomfret Fish With Bamboo Shoot Juice - Naga Traditional Food Recipe

Chinese pomfret fish Paku

Chinese Pomfret Fish is not known to the Nagas before because it is not found in Nagaland nor we rear this Fish, but than Fish is a Fish all are similar so, we use to cook this fish as same as the other fish.
Here today i am going to show you how we Nagas use to cook fish with Bamboo shoot juice .

Ingredients:

Chinese pomfret fish - 3 kgs.
Bamboo shoot juice - 80 ml.
Tomatoes - 2 No.
Ginger - 35grams approx.
Chillies - 15 - 20 peices
1 liter water.
And salt to taste.

Methods:

First of all wash the fish before you cut the fish so that, it won't be wash again after cut it to peices.
not a mandatory to do that, but as it is said from my Granny when we use to wash after the cut the secret taste of fish is gone. so i do follow my granny hehehe.

Now chopped the tomatoes in to larger peices and chilies sliced it into 2 pieces. this is why? because it will be another type of gravey while having together with the fish.

As Ginger is for aroma to give a flavor so cut it into smaller peices and put it.

Now add 80 ml to 100 ml Bamboo shoot juice.

Add one liter water.

And add salt to taste before you start to cook.

Cook for around  25 - 30 minutes it depends on your fire or cooking pot so i cant give you the exact timing for you.

Cook untill the water is soak ( dry out) now enjoy the fish.

How To Marinate Chicken in Vinegar

Marinate chicken is practice by all over the world and everyone knows that. So let me show you a very simple and quick way to marinate chicken in vinegar at home.


Methods
Take the chicken portion you want to marinate small or large size doesn't matter.
here i used 65ML of vinegar 
now mashed the 5 cloves of garlic and 20grm of ginger and salt.
put the mixture in the 65ml of vinegar.

Deep cuts in the chicken pieces, 
Now put the mixture in the chicken and add a spoon of turmeric.
Rub all the mixtures uniformly on the chicken pieces.
and stored in in the refrigerator or cool place for 3 hours.
and use it in deep dry fry, or can make grilled or simply cook or do as your wish.

How TO Make Raw Mango Mint Curry in 5 minutes

Ingredients -
Raw Mango
Mint, chilly, Garlic, Ginger, Salt.

Methods


* Peel the raw mangoes and slice it.

*Chopped the mint leaves.

*Salt (according to your taste).
*Chillies, Garlic, Ginger
*Onion optional ( add onion if you want it will give you tastier but onion will ferment quickly so if you curry is for one meal use it if you make it for a weeks don't use it)

*Grind all the ingredients together and your Mango curry is ready.
